Peer Review Process

The manuscript submitted to the Research and Innovation in Applied Linguistics-(RIAL) will undergo a rigorous evaluation process to ensure that it meets the journal's standards and is suitable for publication. The following processes will be followed:

  1. Editorial Review: The manuscript will be evaluated by the editorial team to ensure that it meets the criteria, scope, and focus of the journal. The editorial review will assess the quality, accuracy, clarity, and organization of the content. This process may include checking for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, tone, and factual accuracy. The goal of the editorial review is to provide constructive feedback to the author(s) and to ensure that the manuscript is of the highest quality.

  2. Blind Review: Once the manuscript passes the editorial review, it will be sent out for blind review by two independent reviewers who are experts in the field. The reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, clarity, and significance. They will also assess the methodology, results, and conclusions. The editor will assign two reviewers to review and mentor the author(s) to revise and polish the manuscript.

  3. Mentoring: Our reviewers will provide feedback and guidance to the author(s) on how to improve the manuscript. The reviewers will work with the author(s) to revise and polish the manuscript. The mentoring assistance will go for two rounds. If the revised manuscript is not satisfactory, it will be rejected. The goal of the mentoring process is to help the author(s) improve the quality of their manuscript and to ensure that it meets the standards of the journal.

RIAL is committed to providing a high-quality publication platform for researchers and scholars in Applied Linguistics. We believe that our rigorous evaluation process ensures that only the highest quality manuscripts are published in our journal.
