Author Guidelines
This document explains the manuscript format and writing structure that authors must follow for publication in INTEK: Jurnal Penelitian.
A. Technical Writing Rules (Formatting)

Citation Style:
References must exclusively follow the IEEE citation standard. -
Reference Software:
Authors are strongly recommended to use reference management software such as EndNote or Mendeley to ensure correct IEEE formatting. -
Font and Size Specifications:
The manuscript must use Times New Roman font with the following size guidelines:Section Font Size Title 20 Author Name 11 Affiliation and Email 10 Abstract and Keywords 10 Main Headings (e.g., Introduction) 14 Subheadings 11 Paragraph Text 11 Figure Caption 11 Table Caption 11 References 11 -
Manuscript Layout:
Manuscripts are written in two-column format on A4 size paper, using single spacing with justified alignment.
B. Structure and Systematics of the Article
The manuscript should be arranged in the following order:

Title
Written in Times New Roman, size 20, bold, and centered. -
Author’s Identity
-
Author’s name (size 11)
-
Affiliation, department, institution, and address (size 10)
-
Author’s email, including an indicator (*) for the corresponding author (size 10)
-
-
Article Info
Includes Keywords, Received, Accepted, and Published dates.-
Keywords: at least 3 (size 10)

Abstract
Contains the research purpose, a brief description of the methodology, and the main results.
The abstract should not exceed 250 words and use font size 10. -
Keywords
Written in font size 10. Minimum three (3) keywords, separated by semicolons. -
Introduction
Should include the background, research motivation, state-of-the-art and novelty, and relevant literature review. Supporting theory may also be included.
Citations must follow the IEEE format, e.g., [1]. -
Research Methodology
Explain the research methods used, including time and location (if necessary).
Diagrams or tables may be used to represent the methodology. -
Results and Discussion
Present the research findings from experiments or simulations.
Figures and tables must be sequentially numbered (e.g., Figure 1., Table 1.) and explained in the text.
Each figure or table must be cited and discussed appropriately. -
Conclusion
Provide the main conclusions and may include suggestions.
Conclusions may be presented in a numbered list (1, 2, etc.). -
Acknowledgements
May include appreciation to institutions or individuals providing support, such as sponsors or funding bodies. -
Data Availability Statement (optional)
Authors are encouraged to include a statement regarding the availability of the data used in the study. -
References
Must follow the IEEE referencing style.
Examples of formatting are available in the journal template.
Reference text uses Times New Roman, size 11.
C. Specific Rules for Figures, Tables, and Equations

Figures and Tables:

Must be numbered consecutively (e.g., Figure 1., Table 1.).

If wider space is required, figures or tables may extend across both columns but must maintain visual balance.

Each figure and table must be clearly readable.

Equations:

Must be numbered sequentially.
-
Equation numbers should be aligned to the right and placed within parentheses, for example:
a+b=γ (1)

D. Submission Format

Manuscripts must be prepared according to the official INTEK A4 template (2025).

The manuscript should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format through the INTEK journal website.
-
The editorial team reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with this format.
