Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts submitted to INTEK: Jurnal Penelitian will undergo a thorough evaluation to ensure they align with the journal's standards and are fit for publication. The process involves several key steps:

Editorial Review: The editorial team will first assess the manuscript to confirm it aligns with the journal’s criteria, scope, and focus. This review evaluates the quality, accuracy, clarity, and organization of the content, including checks for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, tone, and factual correctness. The aim is to offer constructive feedback to the author(s) and ensure the manuscript is of the highest quality.

Blind Review: After passing the editorial review, the manuscript will be subjected to a blind review by two independent experts in the field. These reviewers will assess the manuscript for originality, clarity, and significance, as well as the soundness of its methodology, results, and conclusions. The editor will assign these reviewers, who will also guide the author(s) in revising and refining the manuscript.

Mentoring: Reviewers will provide feedback and guidance to help the author(s) enhance their manuscript. This mentoring process will involve two rounds of revisions. If the manuscript still falls short of the required standards after these revisions, it will be rejected. The purpose of this mentoring is to help the author(s) improve their work to meet the journal's standards.

INTEK is dedicated to offering a high-quality publication platform for researchers and scholars in Applied Linguistics. We believe our rigorous review process ensures that only the best manuscripts are published.
