Author Guidelines

This guide explains the manuscript format and writing structure that authors must follow.

A. Technical Writing Rules (Formatting)

  • Citation Style: The referencing method must exclusively follow the IEEE standard.

  • Reference Software: It is strongly recommended that authors use software such as Endnote or Mendeley to manage the IEEE referencing format.

  • Font Size: The font size varies depending on the section of the manuscript:

    • Main Title: 22 (Times New Roman)

    • Author Name: 11

    • Affiliation and Email: 10

    • "Introduction" Heading: 14

    • Paragraph Text (Example: Introduction): 11

    • Abstract and Keywords: 9

    • Table Caption: 9

    • Figure Caption: 10

    • References: 9

B. Structure and Systematics of the Article

The manuscript must be arranged in the following order:

  1. Title

    • The manuscript title is written in Times New Roman font, size 22.

  2. Author's Identity

    • The author's name is written in font size 11.

    • The author's affiliation (Department, Institution, Address) is written in font size 10.

    • The author's email, including an indicator for the corresponding author, is written in font size 10.

  3. Abstract

    • The abstract should contain the research purposes, a short explanation of the research methodology, and the obtained results.

    • The abstract should not exceed 250 words.

    • It is written using font size 9.

  4. Keywords

    • Must include at least 3 keywords.

    • Written using font size 9.

  5. Introduction

    • This section should include the main reasons or background for selecting the research topic.

    • The author(s) should also include a literature review of other previous related research.

    • Supporting theory may also be included in this section.

  6. Research Methodology

    • The author(s) should demonstrate the selected method.

    • The time and location of the research can be included if necessary.

    • The methodology can be demonstrated in the form of diagrams or tables.

  7. Results and Discussion

    • The author(s) must express and show the obtained results of the research, whether from the laboratory or simulation.

    • The results can be presented in figures, diagrams, or tables, which must be followed by a comprehensive explanation.

  8. Conclusion

    • Conclusions are written in this part.

    • They can be written using a point format (1, 2, etc.).

    • Suggestions can also be included in this part.

  9. Acknowledgement

    • This section can be applied to bodies that have given very positive contributions in conducting the research, such as sponsorships.

  10. References

    • The reference style must be in the IEEE standard.

    • Written using font size 9.

    • Examples of formatting are shown in the template document.

C. Specific Rules for Figures, Tables, and Equations

  • Figures and Tables

    • Must be numbered in sequence (Example: Figure 1., Table 1.).

    • If a figure or table requires more space, it can be placed in a two-column format, but it should still be in a balanced format.

  • Equations

    • All equations must also be numbered in sequence.

    • The number is placed in parentheses.
