Abstrak
To maintain the continuity of electricity distribution, the performance evaluation of overcurrent relays, or Over Current Relays (OCRs), as a protection system needs to be conducted periodically. The reliability of the protection system is a key factor in improving customer service. This research aims to analyze the performance of OCRs on the 150 KV and incoming 20 KV sides of the Sengkang Main Substation. The research results indicate that the accuracy of the OCR Pick Up current is 3.92% (150 KV) and 1.87% (20 KV), with Drop Off to Pick Up OCR ratios of 95.83% and 95.28%, respectively. The relay's time characteristic on both sides of the transformer has also been tested and meets the standards of PT. PLN (Persero), with an error rate smaller than ±5%. Therefore, the performance of OCRs at the Sengkang Main Substation can be considered reliable based on the established standards.Referensi
