Abstract
Providing reliable and efficient electricity in the 20 kV distribution network is an important aspect in the operations of electricity supply companies such as PT. PLN (Persero). Sectionalizers, as devices or protection and control tools in distribution networks, have an important role in ensuring continuity of electricity supply and reducing disturbances that occur. Proper placement of the sectionalizer is an important factor in increasing operational efficiency and also reducing recovery time when a disruption occurs. This research aims to analyze the placement of sectionalizers in the 20 kV distribution network at Penyulang PT. PLN (Persero) with the aim of increasing the reliability of electricity supply. The research methodology involves field surveys, analysis of historical disturbance data, distribution network modeling and ETAP 19.0.1 simulations. These data are used to determine the optimal location of the sectionalizer and working parameters in accordance with network characteristics. The analysis results show that optimal sectionalizer placement can reduce the recovery time of electricity supply after a disturbance, increase the reliability of the distribution network and reduce economic losses due to power disturbances. Based on the calculation results after placing the sectionalizer in Sections B1 and B2, the values obtained were SAIDI = 0.03 and 0.05, SAIFI = 6.96 and 10.97 and CAIDI = 0.005 and 0.005.References
