Abstrak

This research is a quantitative research with experimental quasi type research by using non-equivalent controlgroup design. The purpose of this study is to determine the increase of students' retrieval information through theapplication of PBQ (Problem Based Question) model. The technique sampling is Non-random sampling with purposivesampling type, where XI IPS 4 as experimental class and XI IPS 1 as control class. The Instrument test used an essaytest. The results showed that Asymp value is 0.007 obtained by the Mann Whtney test with significant level 5% or0.05. Based on this Asymp value , 0.007 ≤ 0,05, then H0 rejected and H1 accepted, so it can be concluded that ProblemBased Question learning model has an effect on the improvement of Students' information retrieval ability.
