PERANCANGAN APLIKASI ABSENSI PERKULIAHAN MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION

Abstrak

This study aims to design an alternative media for inputting attendance data that is more sophisticated andpractical and integrated with the Academic Information System (SIMAK) Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic (PNUP).Near Field Communication (NFC) technology can be used as a media absent by using an Android smartphone as an NFCreader. The system will detect an employee master number (NIP) as an integrated user ID with the SIMAK system. Userswill choose the Study Program and Academic Year and Class, then display the names of Students based on the StudyProgram, Academic Year, and Class. This application will use NFC tags as a student sign card to attend the attendanceprocess
