Abstrak

Electrical load at PLN South Makassar Area experienced considerable fluctuation, increasing at night. Due tothe consumption of electrical at PLN South Makassar Area customers dominated by household. Electrical needs whenthe peak load has an adverse impact on all persons, so there needs to be an effort to reduce electrical demand so thatelectrical consumption truly effective. In this study carried out to analyze load factors on household customers in PLNSouth Makassar Area by using the average power comparison method to peak load. The data obtained from PLN SouthMakassar Area to understand the comparison of types of household customer. The biggest load factor value on the typeof customer R1/450 VA is 27.96%. The highest average power value is 17.534.660,80 kW in the type of customer R1M/900 VA and the highest peak load value is 103,548,960 kW in the type of R1 M/900 VA customers.
