PEMASANGAN PAVING PADA JALAN SEKOLAH SDN 79 MAMBUE DI DESA MITRA
Abstrak
SDN 79 Mambue is an elementary school in Nisombalia Village, Maros Regency, which faces accessibility issues due to the unpaved condition of the local road. The road becomes dusty during the dry season and muddy during the rainy season, disrupting teaching and learning activities and endangering the safety of students and teachers. Through this community service program, a team from Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic implemented a solution by installing paving blocks on the school entrance road area covering approximately ±38.11 m². The implementation method included site surveying, material preparation, production of paving blocks using an optimal composition of 10% Fly Ash and Bottom Ash (FABA) that meets SNI 03-0691-1999 (Grade C) standards, and participatory installation involving the community and students in a herringbone pattern for optimal interlocking. The activity was successfully completed and resulted in a significant improvement in accessibility. The installed paving blocks enhanced road surface stability, eliminated dust and mud, and created safer and more comfortable access for all school residents. The product's compliance with standards also ensures the long-term durability of the infrastructure.Unduhan
