PEMASANGAN PAVING BLOK PADA AREAL PARKIR DAN BERMAIN SDN 79 MAMBUE MAROS

Abstrak

SDN 79 Mambue in Maros Regency is facing severe waterlogging problems in the schoolyard area due to the low topography and unorganized ground surface. This condition disrupts teaching and learning activities, endangers the safety of school members, and lowers environmental quality. This community service activity aims to implement porous paving blocks resulting from the team's research to overcome waterlogging, create a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable school environment, and increase groundwater absorption capacity. The implementation methods include site surveys, land measurement, technical planning, material procurement, and the installation of porous paving blocks, actively involving partners (schools and the community). Evaluation is conducted through direct performance testing and post-rain monitoring. The activity was planned to cover an area of 88 m². Porous paving blocks have been successfully installed in the schoolyard area. The evaluation results showed no waterlogging after the rain, a clean and safe surface, and a positive response from the school community.
