PEMETAAN TERPADU SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS JARINGAN JALAN KOTA TAKALAR

Abstrak

Takalar is one of the districts that belong to the mamminasata area, which is designed as a new metropolitandevelopment area. Required improvement of quantity and quality of road infrastructure in takalar city in supporting thedevelopment of Mamminasata area. This study aims to create an integrated mapping with Geographic InformationSystem (GIS) of Takalar city road network. This research was conducted by survei of primary data in the form of spatialdata of road network mapping, attribute data in the form of road photograph, and secondary data in the form of regionaladministration data, roads and road facilities and then mapping software made geographical analysis to obtain aninformative thematic map. The result of the research is the availability of mapping software used to perform geographicanalysis of geographic object of map to produce integrative and informative thematic map as a tool of takalar citygovernment in decision making.
