PELATIHAN METODE PENELITIAN KUALITATIF PADA MASYARAKAT ILMIAH DI JURUSAN AKUNTANSI POLITEKNIK NEGERI SAMARINDA

Abstrak

The purpose of scientific community service at Samarinda State Polytechnic is to provide an understanding inusing the Qualitative Approach Method for students who wish to explore the use of Qualitative ResearchMethods. The training method used in this service is a two-way or reciprocal training method. The results ofthis training can provide understanding for trainees, on aspects: (1) The benefit of the theory is almost same asthe quantitative approach, (2) The title does not indicate quantitative nature. (3) The background have to becontext-based, (4) the formulation of the problem must be focused, (5) Data is grouped into (a) observation,(b) in-depth interviews, (c) documentations, and (d) triangulation. (6) The first and main data analysis tool inqualitative researchers is the researcher itself. (7) Sentences that have to be used are active and verb sentences.Conclusions, from this training activity can provide additional information for training participants somedifferences between quantitative researches with qualitative research.
