Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic education on the establishment of religious tolerance attitudes.This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach by analyzing correlational descriptive and regression usingparametric statistics. A quantitative approach is used to analyze and interpret data that has been collected throughquestionnaires. Whereas correlational descriptive is intended to describe the facts systematically, properties andrelationships between the variables. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. Data collection wascarried out for 55 students of State Polytechnic of Ujung PandangThe results of multiple regressions above indicate that the independent variable has a positive effect on thedependent variable, namely tolerance. Besides that the dominant independent variable is the aqidah variable (X1) of0.392. Based on the table t count, the X1 variable is 3.985. It means that t count is greater than t table which is 2.00. Thehypothesis that there is a positive and significant influence between religious education and the establishment of toleratedattitudes is accepted.
