Abstract

In the implementation of health services there are still many problems that are often found. Public ServiceMotivation is needed in public organizations in order to improve service quality. This study aims to analyze thedimensions of public service motivation owned by employees at the Sawerigading Regional General Hospital in PalopoCity. This study uses quantitative methods with survey research strategies, data analysis is presented with the frequencydistribution table method. Based on the results of an analysis of the Public Service Motivation Value Dimensions ofinterest in public policy making, commitment to the public interest, sense of empathy and self-sacrifice, it can beconcluded that the dimensions of Public Service Motivation at the Sawerigading Regional General Hospital in PalopoCity are a commitment to the public interest, sense empathy and self-sacrifice are categorized as high, while the value ofinterest in public policy making is still low. Therefore, this Public Service Motivation is very important to be understoodand considered in service because this can provide guidance on how public servants should be responsible for theirduties.
