PKM PEMBERDAYAAN KELOMPOK TANI MELALUI TEKNOLOGI IoT PADA BUDIDAYA SELADA HIDROPONIK
Abstract
This community program aims to enhance the capacity of local farmers in applying Internet of Things (IoT)-based modern agricultural technology for hydroponic lettuce cultivation. The main challenges identified include limited knowledge and access to technology, along with inefficient manual monitoring of environmental parameters. To address this, the team designed and implemented an automated monitoring system utilizing sensors for temperature, humidity, and nutrient levels (TDS), integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller and cloud server to enable real-time data visualization via a mobile dashboard. The program also included training and mentoring to improve farmers’ ability to operate and interpret data from the system for better decision-making in cultivation management. The results demonstrated an increase in technological literacy and skills among the farmers. Collaboration between lecturers, students, and the farming community also reflects the application of project-based learning (PBL) in alignment with the Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy. This initiative is expected to serve as a sustainable model for smart farming development and to foster digital transformation in local agricultural practices.Downloads
