PENINGKATAN KINERJA PEMERINTAH DESA MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI WEBSITE DESA TOMPOBULU, KABUPATEN MAROS
Abstract
The Partner Village Development Program (PPDM) was implemented in Tompobulu Village, one of the fostered villages of State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang (PNUP). The development of a website application was designed to address a number of challenges that hinder the performance of the village government. These challenges include the continued reliance on manual processes for public services such as complaint handling and guestbook recording; limited public awareness of the village’s assets and potential; insufficient access to information technology, particularly in the area of community empowerment; and a lack of knowledge among residents regarding village laws and regulations. The developed application is intended to accelerate the management of public complaints, facilitate systematic recording of visits, and provide access to information related to the village’s potential and assets. This initiative is expected to significantly improve performance of the Tompobulu Village Government. The website, accessible at https://tompobuludesa.id/, represents the practical implementation of prior research on application development using the Object-Oriented Design (OOD) method, conducted by the PNUP community service team. Findings from a partner satisfaction survey demonstrate the effectiveness of this initiative. Results indicate that 77.78% of respondents considered the activity highly appropriate for improving the quality of village governance; 55.56% agreed that it was effective in promoting village independence; 66.67% believed the facilities and infrastructure provided were highly suitable for supporting community service activities; 100% reported that the activity fully met the expectations of the village government; and 77.78% affirmed that it aligned well with the expectations of the village community.Downloads
