Abstract

Electricity availability is a fundamental need for society, including in the agricultural sector. However, not all regions in Indonesia have adequate access to electricity, such as farm houses in Kalepandang Village, Bontoharu District, Selayar Regency, South Sulawesi Province which still face energy limitations. This condition affects farmers’ productivity, especially at night when lighting is essential. This Community Service Program (PKM) offers a solution in the form of a small-scale off-grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) installation. The implementation method includes system design, component procurement and testing, on-site installation, commissioning, operational training, and monitoring. The results show that the PLTS successfully provides lighting with two LED lamp points, a fan, and mobile phone charging facilities. This program enhances security, comfort, and quality of life for the partner, while also providing practical experience for students in renewable energy implementation.
