PENINGKATAN STABILITAS TRANSIENT PADA PLTMH MELALUI PERBAIKAN MEKANISME PENGONTROLAN CEPAT DAYA MEKANIK TURBIN CROSS FLOW

Abstract

Stabilitas sistem tenaga listrik merupakan karakteristik sistem tenaga yang memungkinkan mesin bergerakserempak dalam sistem pada operasi normal dan dapat kembali dalam keadaan seimbang setelah terjadi gangguan.Untuk meningkatkan kestabilan sistem generator sinkron dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara diantaranyamenggunakan pengontrolan daya mekanik turbin melalui metode fast valving. Dari hasil simulasi dengan perbaikanmetode penutupan katup utama turbin pada PLTMH, apabila terjadi perubahan daya yang tiba tiba sebesar 0,2 pu makadiperoleh perbaikan kestabilan sistim mencapai kurang lebih 10%.
