Abstract

Halal Assurance System (HAS) -23000 issued by LPPOM MUI. There are eleven criteria, including the criteriafor production facilities. Production facilities are the main equipment and auxiliaries used to produce products. Industrialproduction facilities must meet the criteria according to HAS-23000 guidelines. This suitability can be assessed from theHalal Assurance System (HAS) manual that has been implemented by the company. This activity is carried out withstages a) Evaluation of HAS-23000-based Business Management as outlined in the HAS manual, b) improvement ofproduction facilities through the use of safety required on HAS-23000, c) evaluation of activities, comparing before andafter the program is run. The results of the activities show that there are improvements in HAS manual contents, halalpolicy, the role of the company's internal halal management team, fulfillment of material and product documents andincreased use of product facilities to avoid unclean contaminants. The technical guidance program is able to improve theimplementation of the Halal Assurance System (HAS) -23000 in the food processing industry
