Abstract


This study aims to analyze the impact of Islamic education teacher (PAI) behavior on student behavior in the
future, the behavior of PAI teachers is an urgent matter in classroom teaching. This type of research is qualitative with a
phenomenological approach where data collection is done by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Data
were analyzed by reduction techniques, presentation, and then concluded. The results showed that PAI teachers who
often behaved badly would be a strong legitimacy for students to behave badly in their daily lives. Conversely, PAI
teachers who are able to harmonize lessons with Islamic values in the form of their behavior will make students moral,
kind, and in line with religious, legal and cultural values in society, nation and state.
