Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model on
financial management learning motivation of students of the Accounting Department Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang..
The variables in this study are the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model and learning motivation.
The population in this study were all classes of Accounting Department and the sample of the study were students of
Class 2A and B Diploma 3 Accounting Study Program in even semester 2017/2018 as many as 40 students. Data
collection techniques in this study are documentation and observation. The data analysis technique used is simple
regression analysis.
The result is that the NHT cooperative learning model has a significant positive effect on financial management
learning motivation at a significant level of α <0.05. The magnitude of the effect of NHT cooperative learning model on
financial management learning motivation is 58.8% or the coefficient of determination (Adj. R2) is 0.588.
