UNJUK KERJA SISTEM MONITORING POSISI TERNAK MENGGUNAKAN RFID DAN BLUETOOTH

Abstract


This study aims to make a simulation of the monitoring system of cattle position in miniature form. The system
is formed using RFID and Bluetooth as interfaces, Arduino Uno and Arduino Nano as microcontrollers, and Personal
Computers as storage of livestock databases. Testing is done to find out the performance of the device to work according
to the parameters that must be met based on the function of the device. The research method is carried out in several
stages, namely system design, PCB manufacturing, component assembly, software development, and testing on devices.
The research was carried out in the Electronic System Design and Fabrication Laboratory of Electronics Engineering
Study Program of Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic. The results of the test show that an RFID reader cannot detect two
or more RFID tags simultaneously but must alternately. The delay needed by the RFID reader to read the ID is 5000 ms
according to the time it takes for the buzzer and led alarms to be active.
