are more efficient to use, and often there are some opinions that say certain fuels are more economical without doing
research first. The method used in this study is an experimental method by testing the three types of diesel fuel, in order
to compare the consumption of diesel fuel, bio diesel, and pertamina DEX. The purpose of this research is to find out
how big the comparison is using diesel fuel, bio diesel, and pertamina DEX on the Isuzu Panther engine.
The results showed that the ratio of fuel consumption between diesel types: bio diesel: Pertamina DEX was 1,028: 1,155:
1 at 950 rpm; 1,136: 1,148: 1 at 1350 rpm; 1,052: 1,087: 1 at 1750 rpm; 1,336: 1,059: 1 at 2150 rpm and 1,469: 1,108: 1
at 2550 rpm. So it can be concluded that Pertamina's DEX type of fuel is less fuel compared to diesel and bio diesel,
especially automotive engines which was produced 2010 above.
