ISOLASI DAN KARAKTERISASI INOSITOL DARI BIJI JAGUNG (ZEA MAYS SACCHARATA) DENGAN METODE ULTRASOUND -ASSISTED SOLVENT EXTRACTION DAN GAS CHROMATOGRAFY MASS SPECTROMETRY (GCMS)
Abstract
This research was simply isolated inositol and physic characterisation from sweetcorn (Zea Mays Saccharata). Extractedused Ultrasound - Assisted Solvent Extraction (high frequency signal of 20 kHz). Comparation solvent this research(C2H5OH dan H2O) through variances ethanol dan water as solvent consist of 70%, 75%, 80%, dan 85% for ethanolvariances and 5 gr, 10 gr, 15 gr, dan 20 gr for variances of water as solvent through watered down until 100 ml in beakerglass. Yield extracted as isolated in 75% of ethanol solvent is 76%. Water content and ash content from sweetcorn seedeach of gave result are 76,48% and 0,7979%. Isolated after vaporated characterized with Gas Chromatografy MassSpectrometry (GCMS), the results were not able to detect the presence of Inositol (myo-inositol), but detected the othermonosaccharide content of 2-Furaldehyde. It is estimated that inositol (myo-inositol) is still detectable as 2-Furaldehydewith a very small percentage of abundance.References
