PERANCANGAN WEBSITE E-COMMERCE BERBASIS PHP DAN MYSQL PADA USAHA IKAN ABON TUNA RADIA DI KABUPATEN BARRU

Abstract

E-commerce is a type of trading transaction between the seller and the buyer using the internet. There are many
advantages of using the e-commerce transaction such as building links with the consumer, improving income, reducing
the operational cost, improving the supply management, reducing the production time, etc. These advantages has
brought significant changes to the improvement of e-commerce including Indonesia. This situation also brings impacts
on the need of web-building service as the tool for e-commerce to be used by the business doers. The objective of this
study is to build an e-commerce platform for a business owner of “Usaha Abon Ikan Tuna Radia†situated in Desa Bojo,
Kec. Mallusetasi, Kab. Barru. The system design is based on the waterfall method starting from the preparation stage
(data readiness and the software), construction stage (data analysis, menu and interface design, and coding), and testing
and maintenance stage. In the coding stage, the implementation of a web-based platform uses PHP, HTML, and
Dreamweaver editor using MySql. This e-commerce platform is expected to bring benefit to the improvement of
revenue or profit of the targeted business “Abon Ikan Tunaâ€.
