Abstract

Ginger is a plant that has many health benefits. Tanratellu is a household scale group producing various product of
ginger. Consumption of ginger directly by the public is very limited and purchases in large quantities only in the herbal
industry so that the dedication team made an effort to preserve ginger into powder and make other products. Ginger
powder in diabetics is a challenge for the PKM team and the Tanratellu Group. The making of this powder is done using
brown sugar as the main crystal. This technology transfer is carried out to increase the durability of ginger storage and
sales in a broad market if products such as powder, tea and various other processed products. The available ginger
powder and tea make it easy for people to consume enough by brewing hot or cold water and ready to be served.
Tanratellu is a PKM partner who has made ginger powder for diabetics and other products in the form of tea, chocolate,
ginger candy, and ice cream. Product packaging, labeling and marketing systems are carried out by applying direct and
online sales promotion methods through social media.
