PENGEMBANGAN USAHA KELOMPOK PEREMPUAN MASYARAKAT DESA NISOMBALIA KECAMATAN MARUSU KABUPATEN MAROS SULAWESI SELATAN

Abstract


The women of Nisombalia Village, especially members of the Sehati small scale business group, have been
involved in many small business activities, especially in fish processing as their area has abundant of marine resources.
The results obtained from these small businesses are quite successful especially after being fostered by lecturers from
State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang. However, business development needs to be done to increase women empowerment
in especially members of the Sehati small scale business group. A community service program was conducted to train the
women in the village of Nisombali especially members of the Sehati small scale business group. The training given was
on processing boneless milkfish, milk fish meatballs, and training in product packaging. The aim is to empower them
optimally through improving their fish processing skills to become boneless milkfish and milkfish fish balls, and to
improve their welfare through the development of their businesses.
