PENGOLAHAN DAN PENGEMASAN PRODUK IKAN BANDENG DI KELURAHAN JAGONG

Abstract


The community involved in this activity was the Al-Kautsar farmer group in Jagon, Pangkajene Kepulauan. The
problem that is experienced is that fish are often harvested when they are still small due to climatic conditions and
uncertain weather, this causes fish prices to drop even many are wasted because they are not sold, so that people have a
strong desire to have the skills to process milk fish into meatballs and nuggets that are worth selling. The purpose of this
program is to empower the community so that they can become entrepreneurs. This activity is carried out in 3 (three)
forms of activities, namely: 1) Demonstration and training of processing milk fish into meatballs and nuggets products 2)
Demonstration and training on how to packaging and labeling processed milk fish products, and 3) Assistance of partners.
Partners actively participate in this activity and they already have the skills to process, package and label milk fish
products.
