Abstract
energy is one of the primary types of energy used to power various electrical appliances, such as household appliances, industries, and transportation. PT. PLN (Persero), as the electricity provider in Indonesia, strives to improve the efficiency of supplying electricity to the public, including reducing technical and non-technical losses. One of the causes of technical losses is the presence of neutral current in the three-phase four-wire system, which often occurs in PT. PLN (Persero) Karebosi Customer Service Unit. The need to calculate the losses resulting from load imbalance and harmonics imbalance poses a challenge for the company. This research aims to analyze the magnitude of losses due to neutral current in distribution transformers and understand how neutral current affects losses in these transformers. Data collection methods involved literature review, observations, and interviews with relevant personnel. The results of the instrument measurements and analysis indicate that the greater the load imbalance on the transformer, the greater the losses generated. Additionally, neutral current also has an impact on transformer losses.References
