Abstract

Kaum difabel mengalami hambatan dan kesulitan untuk berpartisipasi secara penuh dan efektif dengan warga negara lainnya karena keterbatasan yang dialaminya. Keterbatasan ini termasuk keterbatasan fisik, intelektual, mental dan sensorik. Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat membuka peluang berkembangnya berbagai aplikasi cerdas yang dapat mempermudah hidup kaum difabel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membahas tentang perkembangan aplikasi cerdas yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup kaum difabel sehingga dapat memberikan gambaran mengenai berbagai teknologi yang dapat menguntungkan kaum difabel. Penelitian ini berfokus pada aplikasi yang digunakan untuk navigasi dan orientasi, rekognisi dan identifikasi, komunikasi, dan aksesibilitas.
