IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PELESTARIAN CAGAR BUDAYA DI KABUPATEN ENREKANG

Abstract

This study has purposes to research the policy implementation of the preservation of Cultural Heritages by ActNumber 11 of 2010 about Cultural Heritage and to identify constraints affecting policy implementation in accordancewith the principles, procedures and guidelines have been established. The method used in this study is qualitative.Location of the research conducted at the Education and Culture Department of Enrekang Regency. Informants in thisstudy are the Head of Education and Culture Department, Head of Culture Division, Head of History and Ancient Section.and public figures or humanist. Data were collected from observation, interviews and review of the document. The resultof this study when linked with Grindles’s implementation models, evidently what Grindle called variable content andcontext variable have not fulfilled properly in the preservation of the local cultural heritage of Enrekang Regency. Whilethe obstacles in the implementation of cultural heritage preservation policy of Enrekang Regency are interests ofimplementers have not inline with, disobedience of the implementers, financial and human resources have not beenfulfilled properly. Those are making the result of policy implementation less optimal.
