PENINGKATAN INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SISWA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PBQ (PROBLEM BASED QUESTION)

Abstract


This research is a quantitative research with experimental quasi type research by using non-equivalent control
group design. The purpose of this study is to determine the increase of students' retrieval information through the
application of PBQ (Problem Based Question) model. The technique sampling is Non-random sampling with purposive
sampling type, where XI IPS 4 as experimental class and XI IPS 1 as control class. The Instrument test used an essay
test. The results showed that Asymp value is 0.007 obtained by the Mann Whtney test with significant level 5% or
0.05. Based on this Asymp value , 0.007 ≤ 0,05, then H0 rejected and H1 accepted, so it can be concluded that Problem
Based Question learning model has an effect on the improvement of Students' information retrieval ability.
