Abstract


One of the strategy which implemented through the research is metacognitif toward double loop problem
solving by prior knowledge and causal detection. The research aims to find out the increasing of the students is results
learning with implementing those strategies above. The research used surveying method with both quantitative approach
and descriptive analysis. Quantitative approach conducted to analyze and interpret the data which has been collected
through questionnaire. Based on descriptive analysis, the correlational aims to describe sistematically about the fact,
characteristics and connection among the anlyzed variable. The data taken by surveying 55 students of class VII which
conducted at MTS Balang-Balang Bontomarannu subdistrict. The result of the study shows that both the increasing of
learning results of the students, and the students enjoy the atmosphere of the classroom in using the learning strategy of
the loop problem solving. Through the metacognitive, the students are ready to face the material given for the next week.
