DIMENSI PUBLIC SERVICE MOTIVATION DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH SAWERIGADING KOTA PALOPO

Abstract


In the implementation of health services there are still many problems that are often found. Public Service
Motivation is needed in public organizations in order to improve service quality. This study aims to analyze the
dimensions of public service motivation owned by employees at the Sawerigading Regional General Hospital in Palopo
City. This study uses quantitative methods with survey research strategies, data analysis is presented with the frequency
distribution table method. Based on the results of an analysis of the Public Service Motivation Value Dimensions of
interest in public policy making, commitment to the public interest, sense of empathy and self-sacrifice, it can be
concluded that the dimensions of Public Service Motivation at the Sawerigading Regional General Hospital in Palopo
City are a commitment to the public interest, sense empathy and self-sacrifice are categorized as high, while the value of
interest in public policy making is still low. Therefore, this Public Service Motivation is very important to be understood
and considered in service because this can provide guidance on how public servants should be responsible for their
duties.
