EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA INDONESIA BERBASIS ADVANCE ORGANIZER DAN MIND MAPPING PADA SISWA SMK KELAS X

Abstract


The literature of learning is one of important indicator in learning of senior high school. This research is aimed
to develop and describe the learning process of literature of the students of Class X through Advance Organizer and
Mind Mapping Method.
The research consisted of three cycles who emphasized the planning, the implementationn, the observation, and
the reflection. The research sources of data were the learning activities or processes, the Indonesian language teachers as
informants, Makassar Mastar Grade X students, and the documents, such as the Learning Implementation Plan, the
photographs of the learning activities, and the poetry mind mapping. The methods used too collect the data were the
techniques of interviews, document analysis, assigments, and questoinnares. The techniques of analyzing the data were
qualitative and quantitative techniques.
The research result revealed that the effectiveness of the advance organizer and mind mapping method could
improve the poetry learning process of the grade X students of Makassar SMK. This could be seen in the results of the
prestest and posttest carried out in three cycles: the pretest average mark was 20.35 or 45,22%, the average result of the
first cycles was 25.55 or 56,78%, the average result of the second cycles was 27,7 or 61,61% and the average result of the
third cycle was 34.07 or 75,72%.
