DISAIN ALAT MONITORING KUALITAS LAYANAN JARINGAN KOMPUTER

Abstract


Monitoring quality of service becomes an important part of computer networks. This is because the quality of
services can fluctuate at any time so that without monitoring network users will complain about the slow access of data.
Many network monitoring software, both free and paid, is found in search engines (Google etc.), but its use is very
dependent on the specifications of the computer/laptop so that this research designed portable tool for monitoring the
quality of network services. This tool is made from Raspberry Pi, LCD Display and Zabbix Software. Raspberry Pi is
functioned as a server while Zabbix is network monitoring software. The measurement results in the form of a graph that
informs Quality and Service (QoS) of the network. The trial was conducted at the CNAP laboratory of Ujung Pandang
State Polytechnic. The measurement results of the devices that have been made validated with the PRTG traffic grapher
monitoring software show that the lowest bandwidth of 0.98 Gbps occurs at 10:00 - 13:00, while Monday is the day
where the weakest bandwidth is available.
