Abstract

Purnarupa Trainer Practicum Control of AC Motor Rotation Speed Based on Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) as the
Development of Automatic Control Trainer has advantages over trainers who have started to determine zero crossing
points, forming ramp generator signals, forming PWM signals, determining Triac trigger angles to forming AC. Method:
Planning, introduction to work principles and data collection related to zero crossing detectors, ramp generator formation
series, the series of PWM formation. Results: output voltage from the measurement results of a device is 25V, 50V, 75V,
100V, 125V, 150V, 175V, and 200V. While the calculation results obtained output voltage of 32.6V, 52.65V, 74V,
119.8V, 141V, 160V, 191V, and 211V with maximmum voltage of ramp generator 1650 mV. Conclusion: The principle
of the process of forming a zero crossing signal, sawtooth, PWM, and output signal is achieved perfectly even though
there are differences between the test results and calculation results
