Abstract


Waste problems become polemic which can interfere with the environment. The design of the trash or crushing machine
is done in the hope of reducing the waste problem. The chopper is currently only functioning to count waste, especially
organic waste driven by the motor without the control and monitoring of the garbage counting machine. Therefore, the
problem of this planning is how is the planning of trash crusher that can be controlled remotely and can be monitored.
For this reason in this study using the control method of the Arduino microcontroller and can be monitored with the
Internet of Things device. So that the design of the trash can which is equipped with a crushing device for household
waste can be used in the community easily and practically. From the results achieved, the application of household waste
trash crushing can monitor and control the trash removal device with a 90% success rate.
