ANALISIS KUALITAS DAYA LISTRIK PADA GEDUNG TEKNIK ELEKTRO KAMPUS 2 POLITEKNIK NEGERI UJUNG PANDANG

Abstract

Power quality becomes big issue for electrical power consumption currently because the customers want to havea good power quality to supply their appliances to abandon dysfunction and fast aging. Power quality identification isvery important as the first step to make a load management and repair to increase the power quality.The used method in this research is measuring voltage, current, power factor, total demand distortion (TDD),real power, reactive power, apparent power and flicker using Power Quality Meter (METREL) in Electrical Departmentbuilding campus 2 State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang. This measurement is conducted for 3 days to get sampling ofload characteristics and electric power quality. The result of this research is to analyse the power quality of this buildingto consider if the power quality is worse to make quick anticipation of the power stability to keep laboratory instrumentworking well.
