PKM PENGENALAN DAN PENERAPAN PERANGKAT INFRASTRUKTUR TELEKOMUNIKASI SEBAGAI BAGIAN PROMOSI POLITEKNIK NEGERI UJUNG PANDANG DI SMAN 21 MAKASSAR DAN SMAN 14 MAROS

Abstract

This community service program (PKM) aims to introduce and apply telecommunications infrastructure devices as part of Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic (PNUP) promotion at SMAN 21 Makassar with 60 grade XII students and SMAN 14 Maros with 50 grade XII students. The program seeks to enhance education and student understanding of telecommunications technology development, provide insights into career opportunities in the telecommunications industry, and promote D3 Telecommunications Engineering and D4 Telecommunications Network Engineering Technology programs at PNUP as primary educational options for senior high school students.The implementation method consists of three stages. The preparation stage includes coordination with schools, material preparation, and team formation. The execution stage comprises seminars on telecommunications infrastructure introduction and application, promotion of PNUP programs, and alumni sharing sessions. The evaluation stage includes activity assessment, follow-up actions, and publication preparation.This activity was attended by grade XII students, teachers, alumni, and the service team. Results demonstrate the successful achievement of PKM objectives. The program not only expanded student knowledge but also encouraged schools to establish this program as an annual agenda, demonstrating sustainable impact on vocational education awareness.
