PENERAPAN STRUKTUR CLEAR SPAN BAJA PADA DESAIN STRUKTUR ATAP MASJID NURUL ILMI SMA NEGERI 5 PAREPARE

Abstract

State Senior High School 5 Parepare (SMAN 5 Parepare), South Sulawesi Province, has a school mosque facility named Nurul Ilmi Mosque. This mosque serves as a place of worship and interaction among students. Currently, the development of the Nurul Ilmi Mosque is hindered by a lack of expert construction personnel needed to assist in planning, particularly for designing a safe roof structure. The Community Partnership (PKM) Program aims to apply steel clear span system on the structure and calculate the budget for developing the roof of the Nurul Ilmi Mosque. The activities of PKM began with the survey and measurement stage, followed by structure design and cost calculation. Results of the PKM activities indicate that a steel clear span structure was suitable for the design of the mosque's roof development. Additionally, the Nurul Ilmi mosque already has structural roof planning drawings and cost estimates as a guide for the continued development of the mosque's construction.
