PERANCANGAN ANTENA SLOT MIKROSTRIP INDOOR UNTUK APLIKASI 4G
Abstract
This research aims to design and analyze a rectangular microstrip patch array antenna with a 2×2 configuration, incorporating slots to enhance Bandwidth so that it can cover both uplink and downlink frequencies resonating at 2 GHz to support 4G communication network performance. The antenna is designed using an FR-4 Epoxy PCB substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.4 and a thickness of 1.6 mm. The design and simulation processes are carried out using the High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software to obtain performance parameters such as VSWR, Return Loss, Gain, radiation pattern, and antenna efficiency. The implementation of slot and inset-feed techniques aims to broaden the Bandwidth and improve the antenna Gain. Simulation results show that the antenna achieves a VSWR of 1.22, Return Loss of −19.8 dB, Gain of 5.8 dB, and a Bandwidth of 300 MHz. These results indicate that the designed antenna performs well at 2 GHz and has strong potential for application in high-speed wireless communication systems for 4G networks and further development toward 5G technology.Downloads
