PROGRAM KEMITRAAN MASYARAKAT: MENINGKATKAN BRANDING UMKM KOTA MAKASSAR MELALUI IMPLEMENTASI MODUL COMPANY PROFILE PADA WEBSITE

Abstract

The BSI UMKM Center Makassar, which fosters and supports approximately 500 UMKM through training, mentoring, and consultation, has identified that UMKM in Makassar City face challenges in expanding their markets due to their reliance on traditional marketing strategies and their inadequate use of digital technology. This Community Service activity, initiated by the Community Partnership Program (PKM) Team of the Computer and Network Engineering Study Program, Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering (ICT), in collaboration with the BSI UMKM Center Makassar as a partner, aims to improve UMKM branding through the implementation of a company profile module based on adaptive access rights on the website, a result of research. The activity method included workshops for 20 UMKM and intensive mentoring for four selected UMKM to build websites with dynamic company profile features. The results of the activity demonstrated increased UMKM interest in utilizing digital platforms, as well as the creation of four UMKM company profile websites with adaptive access rights modules, aimed at expanding marketing and increasing business visibility on digital platforms. This program not only impacts UMKM independence in digital branding but also serves as a project- based learning tool for students.
