PENINGKATAN PENGELOLAAN BUMDES DAN OPTIMALISASI POTENSI LOKAL UNTUK KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT DESA TOMPOBULU, KABUPATEN MAROS
Abstract
This community service activity was conducted in Tompobulu Village, Maros Regency, with the goal of improving the management of BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) and utilizing local potential for the welfare of the village community. The village's main potentials include the agricultural sector, cattle farming, and tourism, which have not yet been fully developed. Through BUMDes management counseling and training, village officials and community members were equipped with knowledge and skills in business planning, financial management, human resource management, and product marketing. The results of the activities showed an increase in community participation in BUMDes management and plans for the establishment of new business units based on local potential. Additionally, community awareness of local economic potential has increased. However, the sustainability of this program requires continuous support from various parties, including local governments and financial institutions. With good synergy, Tompobulu Village is expected to optimize its local potential and improve community welfare through professional and sustainable BUMDes management. The results also showed that the presence of BUMDes has become an essential tool for sustainable village economic empowerment, while also enhancing collaboration among involved stakeholders.
