PENGEMBANGAN TEKNOLOGI INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT) DALAM PENGENDALIAN SUHU DAN KELEMBABAN KUMBUNG JAMUR
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to regulate the temperature and humidity of mushroom beetles to suit the conditions of mushroom growth and to optimize the Internet of Things (IoT) in monitoring climate conditions in mushroom beetles. The problem faced is the limitation of mushroom farmers in maintaining temperature consistency in the range of 22°C – 29°C and humidity ranging from 80% - 90% in mushroom beetles which causes seedling failure in baglogs, suboptimal growth, and decreased crop yields as well as monitoring carried out directly in mushroom beetles. The system is designed with several components such as using an Arduino uno and Raspberry Pi 3 B+ as a microcontroller, a DS18B20 sensor or humidity sensor, an SHT30 sensor or temperature sensor and other devices with system readings stored in a database with firebase web and displayed on the application, which allows automatic monitoring and control according to setpoints and commands on the program. The research method used consisted of designing the model and shape of the tool, designing the electronic system and control on the system, followed by the implementation and testing of the tool on the mushroom beetle. The test results show that the system is effective in maintaining a temperature of 22°C-29°C with an average temperature of 29°C and a humidity of 80%-90% with an average of 70%, according to the needs of the oyster mushroom shown in the application that has been made. This proves the effectiveness of the mushroom beetle temperature and humidity control system which is able to provide a solution for mushroom farmers, namely not having to monitor and water directly but can be done automatically even though it is in another place.
