Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement a control system for the ventilation of a closed-house layer chicken coop. The automatic ventilation control system is based on the DHT22 sensor to optimize environmental conditions within the closed-house chicken coop. The DHT22 sensor is used to monitor temperature and humidity in real-time, which is then processed by a microcontroller to control the ventilation system. The primary objective of this system is to maintain the coop temperature within the optimal range of 25-29°C to enhance productivity and animal welfare. In addition to automatic ventilation, this research also includes other systems such as automatic feeders, disinfectants, and waste cleaners, designed to ease the workload of farmers. The test results show that the designed system can quickly respond to changes in temperature and humidity, thus maintaining stable coop conditions. The implementation of this system is expected to create a more comfortable environment for the chickens and improve the efficiency of coop management. Keywords: control system, automatic ventilation, DHT22 sensor, temperature, humidity, chicken coop.
