RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM KONTROL DAN MONITORING SUNROOF BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT)
Abstract
A sunroof is one of the features that can add aesthetic value to a car. In addition, sunroofs are also considered an enhancement in driving comfort. With the advancement of technology, the integration of the Internet of Things in sunroofs can provide additional functionalities, such as remote control and monitoring the status of the sunroof. This research aims to design an automatic sunroof based on weather conditions and create a control and monitoring system based on the Internet of Things. This sunroof can operate automatically with the help of several sensors such as a rain sensor and a light sensor. The result of this sunroof creation works well; if the rain sensor detects rain and the light sensor detects cloudy light, the sunroof will close. Similarly, if the rain sensor does not detect rain and the light sensor detects bright light, the sunroof will open. And the average time to open and close the sunroof is around 5 seconds. And to make it easier for users, this device can be monitored and controlled through the Blynk application on their smartphones. so it can be controlled remotely.
