PEMASANGAN INSTALASI LISTRIK SUPLAY DC LAMPU PENERANGAN JALAN MASJID UWAIS AL QARNI

Abstract

The Uwais Al Qarni Mosque is located at the Batara Ugi non-block housing complex, Sudiang Raya Village, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City. Founded in 2019 by the Uwais Al Qarni Foundation, as a means of worship and religious activities for Muslims. The current condition of the building is still in the reconstruction stage for the completion of the stages that will be carried out (February 2024). One of the obstacles is the lack of street lighting at the gates along the mosque corridor at night, which gives the congregation a sense of security when carrying out worship activities at night. By looking at the conditions and discussing with the mosque management, it was concluded that this mosque requires the installation of lighting at the gates and hallways for night lighting. Through this PKM activity, a solution was provided, namely the installation of DC supply street lighting at the gate and along the mosque road which is safe and reliable in accordance with PUIL 2020, so that it can guarantee the safety of human souls and provide comfort to the community during worship/other religious activities, which are carried out on the mosque. This light operates from 18.00 to 06.00 and does not interfere with PLN power outages. This PKM output benefits mosque congregations and the people who pass along the road.
