IDENTIFIKASI PRIORITAS PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PRODUK OLAHAN IKAN KELOMPOK WANITA ISTERI NELAYAN “FATIMAH AZZAHRAâ€, KELURAHAN PATTINGALLOANG, KECAMATAN UJUNG TANAH, MAKASSAR

Abstract


This research aims to produce an outcome of a draft policy to improve the quality of processed fish products of
Women's Wife Fishermen Group "Fatimah Azzahra". Implementation of the policy is expected to improve the quality of
processed fish products, consumer buying interest, income and welfare of its members. The draft of service quality
improvement policy is made by PFI (Priorities of Improvement) analysis method, through gap analysis method to ten
attributes of product quality that have been identified. Furthermore, mapping is done by using Cartesian diagram to
determine the position of these attributes in each quadrant. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to
consumers who have consumed fish processed products, interviews and observation. The results show that the attributes
that are the first priority to be improved are the expiration date, followed by the successive identity of the product
maker, the information about the product content, and the product coating material.
